As sun is on vengeance here in Chennai, I peeled and chopped mango pieces and refrigerated them in an air tight container to chill for an hour before making this mango oatmeal smoothie with dates and it tasted yum. The best part of the smoothie is the dates are added to give that necessary sweetness…Do try out this one goodness glass of yumminess….I used homemade curd in making this mango oatmeal smoothie with dates.
Mango Oatmeal Smoothie with Dates
- 2 cups Mango chunks
- 1 cup low fat Yogurt
- ½ tbsp. Vanilla extract
- ½ cup Oats
- 10 Dates, pitted and soaked in water for ½ hour
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Tada our smoothie is ready.
- Serve in desired glasses and serve chilled.
You can add pineapple or orange juice for that extra tang.
