{Product Review} Soulfull Instant Dosa Mixes

I love to have Dosa at any time of the day. Sizzling sound of hot pan when you sprinkle water to check whether the pan is hot enough to pour in dosa batter….spreading the batter in circular motions to attain thin crepe….the bubbling sound of oil when you pour around the dosa….the flip-flap to cook evenly and on each side….for me it’s like a game and I love playing it….Only dosa I knew before coming to Bangalore was regular one which is made by soaking urad dal and dosa rice in 2:1 ratio for 7-8 hours…then grinding it to fine batter…leaving it to ferment overnight and then finally making out thin dosa’s….sometimes stuffing with potato and calling it masala dosa, sometimes with onion or sometimes with egg…..But after coming to Bangalore, I tasted different varieties of Dosa’s like Rava Dosa, Adai, etc….Being Dosa fan, I try making these at home now and then. But since the time Lil’M has come in my life…I get so busy during mornings that I simply forget to soak in dal and rice to make Dosa…and by evening I will start thinking what I would make in breakfast the next day. Rava Dosa is bit saver at times…but when you get to cook and pack lunch for your husband… along with attending a lil one who is running around without brushing her teeth along with attending milkman, maid, iron wali, etc….I automatically get distracted in adding the ingredients to make batter for rava dosa…and end messing it up….So rava dosa is always on weekends in my menu….

But when Kottaram Agro Foods presents packaged food brand SOULFULL reached me to review there Instant Dosa Mixes, I was wondering how it would taste like. To give it a try, I sent them my willingness to try the products. Along with the products they sent me a letter where they have mentioned about their company and other details of the products. If you are a bachelor or busy house wife or running around 9-5 jobs or someone like me who wants to have different breakfast everyday or someone who loves to have Dosa at snack time or someone who forgets to make batter (like me)….this product is for you….

• RAGI DOSA MIX: This dosa mix brings you the benefit of ragi in a dosa form by balancing health and taste. 60% Ragi in this dosa ensures you good nutrition. MY VERDICT:

I made Ragi and Adai Dosa’s for the first time and everyone at home loved the different dosa’s. Rava Dosa is something which I found easy to make. This guilt free product ensures you on not to compromise on taste. They have clearly mentioned instructions and preparation steps on the back of the packet which is good. These dosa mixes are low in salt too…..for those busy mornings or hungry evenings….these Soulfull, deliciously healthy Instant Dosa Mixes are perfect fit. Will I pick up this product again? Yeah sure. …because I don’t need to stand in the kitchen thinking when I am hungry and craving for something healthy, hot and yum. So go ahead and surprise your family with a feast of wholesome varieties of dosa’s….
