Yesterday when I sat to update recipe index of my blog…I noticed I have not updated breakfast recipe's folder since so long….that means I have not posted any breakfast recipe from long time……There is no particular reason behind it….as these days my breakfast is very simple like toast or oats porridge or Kellog’s or museli…..so nothing much to click and blog….
If you are working or not…mornings are always busy time of the day…where you got to do more than half a day’s work at a stretch….like preparing and serving breakfast along with coffee or tea and then cooking and packing lunch for husband and kids…..etc. In between you need to attend milkman, maid, phone calls, getting ready kids, packing school bags, dropping them at bus stop or school, etc….looks like a film is played in fast forward mode…..
In all these preparing an elaborate breakfast on weekdays is bit time consuming and tedious at times…As to keep going and adapting to the change in lifestyle, breakfast these days have got an heavenly makeover….you can get semi homemade foods like Kellog’s, Museli, etc…where you just need to add milk/yogurt and fruit to make an nutritious and yum breakfast ready in no time. You can also have bread which can be enjoyed as toast with butter or jam or even homemade fruit butter which is much popular these days.
Over the time, bread has also gone a heavenly makeover to get adapt in your diet style. Now a days you can get whole wheat flour bread easily in any local bakery or grocery store, which is yet another healthy inclusion fitting in your healthy life style diet chart…..
These days it is mostly….toasted whole wheat bread with organic mixed fruit jam along with homemade fresh fruit juice to kick start my day. A breakfast so simple like this can reduce your workload in the kitchen during morning’s along with keeping you light and healthy….
