Sefa Firdaus of Food Is Love is a West Sumatran’s descendant, born and raised in Jakarta and now living in Northern Germany. She says I didn’t care before about cooking (even I hate the smell of the kitchen). But I do care now. I love to cook to spoil myself and my better half. I didn’t believed before that love comes from foods (like the elder always said back home). But I do believe now since I can see it from his eyes every time he eats my foods. (how romantic)
Ramadan for me is a month where God gives us a chance to be a better Muslim. In Jakarta, Indonesia, Ramadan means also gathering in a mosque for praying (subuh, maghrib, isha and taraweeh). And the tradition during Ramadan is a group of people will go every morning to wake up the whole neighboorhood for doing sahur says Sefa of Food Is Love.
Her menu includes American, European, Indonesian, Middle Eastern and West Sumatran Culinary. Hmm does it not tempting you to have a look at her blog Food Is Love. If you think this is all then you are wrong, her blog takes you on a long mesmerizing, tempting, enjoyable, wondrous and luscious food jouney with her recipes and awesome photographs of her edible creations. (which make you hungry).
